COUNCILS OF STAKEHOLDERS

By establishing five Local and a Transnational Stakeholder Councils, the project ensures the active involvement of public and private actors in the co-design, co-creation and co-assessment of social innovation-based activities.

LOCAL COUNCILS

In the NEVERMORE project, participation is fundamental:

  • There is a need to bring together and dialogue more knowledge so that academic knowledge is translated into policies and actions that are embedded in the social context.
  • All points of view on the problem are invited to participate in the development of solutions and measures to tackle the problem.
  • Politicians and civil society must take the lead in tackling climate change.

For this reason, 5 working groups have been created in the 5 case study areas of the project. These groups are networks of representatives of different stakeholders, each with different skills and knowledge.

The 5 LOCAL Councils will be the meeting point and dialogue between the NEVERMORE project and society.

TRANSNATIONAL COUNCIL

The Transnational Council of Stakeholders consists of a heterogeneous group of stakeholders involved in the co-design, co-creation, and co-assessment of the NEVERMORE solutions to ensure the project delivers practical and user-friendly tools and services.

SOCIAL INNOVATION-BASED ACTIVITIES

The Local Councils in the five case studies and the Transnational one will be crucial grounds for understanding and mapping the needs and interests of different actors related to climate change and modeling approaches as well as promoting the adoption of climate change decision support tools by relevant stakeholders and the general public.
